Ok, my gut feeling is there’s going to be a lot more than just two whisky-related events happening around here in the next month or so. I don’t know, maybe my Gaelic heritage gives me some keen insight that other mere mortals don’t have…but I’m pretty sure there’ll be a lot going on.

Also, word on the street is there’s another little tasting on the 8th.  It seems several whiskies are involved with this one and there’s a decent chance some industry people might be there…

4th Annual WhiskyFest San Francisco

This is Malt Advocate’s annual West Coast blowout, with over 260 whiskies being featured and several seminars led by the leaders of the whisky world. A VIP ticket gets you in the door one hour earlier and gets you pours of exclusive stuff that the regular peons (me, for example) can’t get their grubby, proletariat hands on.
